Short Term Mission Trips
The Mission Team at BSCC is doing what it can to see that the Great Commission is accomplish. We support various ministries around the world. To encourage these ministries and to give our attenders a chance to use the gifts that God has blessed them with. This year we will offer 3 Mission Trips to allow you to serve in a way that uses the gifts and abilities that God has blessed you with, to encourage the people we serve and have an impact for Jesus. There is something for everyone. The Missions Team asks that you prayerfully consider how God can use you in any of these 3 locations.

Joplin, Missouri
March 19-23
Servants will have the opportunity to work with Habitat For Humanity to help build some damaged homes in Joplin after the tornado. This is a week long trip with the possibilities of staying in Joplin for the week or driving back and forth from Kansas City every day depending on your schedule. There is also the possibility of working with the Joplin Public school district to help wherever we are needed. We will continue to serve on our day trips to the Distribution Center at the College Heights Christian Church several times during the year beginning January 25th. There will be a short meeting after 3rd service on Sunday, January 29th in room A222 to give information about the trip.
Osaka, Japan
June 1-10
Servants will have the opportunity to help the Huddleston’s and the people of Japan clean up after the strong earthquake and tsunami that affected the northern part of Japan last year. There will be a meeting for this trip in mid February.
Show Low, Arizona
September 29th – October 5th
Servants will help the White Mountain Apache Christian Church with residents of the White Mountain Apache reservation with various tasks ranging from light construction to teaching children and adults on the reservation.
