On The Move Projects

On the Move - Graphic - Words

One Body…Many Projects…On Mission!

Blue Springs Christian Church will be participating in community serve projects September 15 through September 24 called On the Move.  There are many projects that have been identified so that as many of us as possible can join together in serving our community. God is going to do some amazing things and we hope you will be praying about how He can use you in our community because each of us are needed!

THE COMMUNITY CLOSET is a free clothing and personal necessities event held on our campus. We will sort clothing, organize display tables, and assist shoppers as needed. Please contact Yvonne Fellers for more information.

OWL HOLLOW FARM is a community partner that provides a place of safety, acceptance and healing for children in need; a shelter from the storms of life. We will work on various facility and property projects. Please contact Mickey Carter for more information.

SCHOOL AND ADMINISTRATIVE BUILDING LUNCHES: This fall we will not only feed the teachers and staff at the Grain Valley North Middle School and the Blue Springs Freshman Center, we will also serve lunch to those who work at the Blue Springs Bartow Administrative Center. Please contact David Judd  for more information.

JUST A SANDWICH, a ministry started by BSCC member Julie Dumsky, provides peanut butter and jelly sandwiches to the hungry and homeless. Our goal is to make and deliver 1,000 sandwiches. Please contact Julie Dumsky  for more information.

CITY UNION MISSION is an organization that serves the homeless in the Kansas City area. We will serve lunch at the Family Center and dinner at the Men’s Center.
